New year expectations....

Merry Xmas and Happy Holidays to everyone. Now that the year is coming to an end one tends to reflect on the happenings of the year past and expectations for the next. I personally have
learned a lot of lessons this year. Some, more painful then others, but overall I am thankful for the year and very much looking forward to the next. This coming year I looking forward to meeting my daughter and experiencing all the wonderful things motherhood has to offer. I'm also excited to be back in school. Expanding my opportunities and exploring different majors, in hopes of deciding which one is best for me. Lessons I have learned over this past year is to take things one day at a time and not to be so hard on myself. I think as women we can be are own worst critics, well at least in my case I can. In the upcoming year I want to reestablish my workout routine I have been very lax for these last few months, I really enjoyed working out. I also want to get back to healthier eating , my vegan-ism definitely slipped and I want to go back to that. In the coming year I promise to take the time to write daily whether that be in my journal or here on this blog. I take the time to read my bible and maintain my church attendance in this new year. Fortunately, this year, I found a church that I can see myself growing within, so much so, that I joined. I promise to be a better human being in the coming year all around. I'm ready to grow and push myself out of my comfort zone and to live the life I dream. It is my sincere hope that everyone else sits down and reflects on the year that is ending and makes expectations for themselves for the next. Here's praying that you make the choice to be happy and do things daily that make you happy, I know i will. I'm looking forward to the new year and I really hope you do too.

Hair inspiration

I really like this girl's hairstyle. I've done a version without the braids but i definitely want to try this one.

All i want for xmas is you.........

1. Digital camera

Now that I'm going to have my own mini me I really want a digital camera to document all the little moments in her life. Before I'd just use my cell phone but seeing as though i am a grown up its time to invest.
2. Black Knee Length Boots.
Being that God has gifted me with size 12 feet buying shoes is always an issue. So I'm always on the hunt for a pair that will not cost me a gazillion dollars.
3.Neutral eyeshadow palette
I've decided I wanted to commit to more of a daily makeup look consisting of a smokey neutral eye and a nude lip. So I'm on the hunt for a palette that carries the type of pigmentation and shade range I require. This Bobbi Brown one looks perfect.

It never rains.......

........umm Tony Toni Tone what happened? It's day 7.

Just a hello

So hello world after years of reading many blogs I have been inspired to sit down and create my own. I’ve attempted to start beauty blogs in the past but then realized I don’t just want to talk about beauty. I want my blog to be as random as I am. I want the freedom to write about any genre I please, so with that said now a little bit about me.

I am a 27 year old soon to be mother. I am just as excited as I am nervous about the responsibility of being a mother. I’m sure there will be many post on this in the near future. I am a cosmetologist beauty junkie like literally eye shadow and hair is my life. I am a natural hair obsessive. The bigger, the curlier, the kinkier the better it is to me. I’m a vegetarian, a quiet Leo which people say is an oxymoron. A super tall girl who doesn’t model or play basketball like people you can do more than that if your over 5’9. I am a coffee, chocolate, book loving nerd. I consider myself a very creative spirit. I am a native Californian.
